I'm absolutely loving this photoshoot featuring Carey Mulligan, which draws its inspiration from The Great Gatsby. Every look is stunning and ornate with so many intricate designs (haute couture!), the lighting is dim but bright at the same time (can that happen?) and the accessories are just to-die-for.The silver, baby blue and grey pink hues give the entire thing a muted but elegant, feminine and ethereal feel. Carey looks like a princess/queen-to-be in this getup and I'm totally envious of her! It must had felt like heaven when you get to wear stunning gowns from top labels, don accessories that look like they're made for royalty, and be the face of the May issue of Vogue. Ah...I can totally see myself in Carey's place now. I mean, a girl can dream right?
