November Favourites

Hello!

I can't believe it's the end of November already! my has this month flown by it will be Christmas before we know it. (only 3 more friday's left can you believe that)

A few things I do love about the colder months is getting cosy, sitting around in my pj bottoms with a hot water bottle catching up on all your favourite tv shows such as I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here (anybody else love watching this?) and drinking more cups of teas than usual. A few favourites I've been loving this month are a lot more skincare products as the cold winds and icy mornings have serious dryness on my skin.

Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturising Lotion | £7.15 Boots

Using my daily moisturiser and face cream just wasn't the same anymore as I started to notice dry patches on my face near the bridge of my nose in between eyebrows were my glasses sit and on my neck so I decided to ask the lovely beauty bloggers on twitter for some recommendations and I got a few responses, in fact it was hard to choose one but for some reason this one just stood out to me as I read some good reviews and it contains organic ingredients which is a bonus. So I added a few pumps of this in with my moisturiser and its cleared up those nasty dry patches which makes my make up sit nicely again.

Yankee Candle Cranberry Ice | £7.99 Yankee Candle

As It's the month away from Christmas I figured I get the christmassy smells in my bedroom early so of course I went to visit the Yankee Candle store as they are famously known for scented candles and chose this soft scented cranberry smell, nothing too powerful as I like to get those smells in December.

The Melting Snowman | £2.25 Lush

With my skin lacking a lot of moisture I wanted something that I could pop in the bath which would give my skin a boost.

Lush is my favourite shop to go to over the christmas period as they bring in all new stock and have lots of offers, so I was looking around and immediately picked up this little snowman bath melt when the shop assistant came over and asked if I was okay, so I asked I was looking for something moisturising for my skin and she told me these snowmen were perfect for that so I bought one as they don't cost that much and you can get multiple uses out of it if you don't want to use it all in one go. I hold the melt in my hand and let it float in the water for a bit so I can re use it and only a small amount in the bath is still affective. When I got out the bath my skin felt so soft I was really impressed as I've never tried one of these before so I've been repurchasing these loads this month really loving them.

Charity Pot | £6.95 Lush

Another thing I bought from Lush this month was the Charity Pot a hand and body lotion. As I've been suffering with dry skin this month this purchase has really helped me if you've tried dream cream then it works in similar ways. The cream feels thick when you reach your hand in it but then when it's on your skin it feels light if that makes sense, anyway the main area i've been using this cream has been on my arms were I have eczema as my skin is really dry there but this cream has helped soothe my skin and make it soft and bearable this winter it hasn't made it gone completely as I haven't found that miracle cream yet but I'd still recommend it.

Carmex Moisturising Vanilla Lip Balm | £3.25 Boots

My lips have been really suffering this month from the cold winds always dry and chapped and it probably doesn't help with me biting them (I must stop this bad habit)  and this doesn't make my lipsticks sit very nice on my lips so I needed to invest in a good lip balm to help repair my lips and this does just the job. I use this overnight and in the morning and when I can in the day. When you first use this you will experience a bit of a tingling on your lips but it doesn't hurt and the way I see it, that's how you know it's working it's magic, it make all my dry chapped skin disappear and leaves my lips so smooth.

Maybelline Lip Liners | £3.99 Superdrug

These lip liners were a new discovery for me this month, I've never tried them before or even considered buying them but for some reason I thought I'd give it ago and after trying them I now love lip liners, they make your lipstick last so much longer than normal and the liners don't smudge, feather or bleed. I'm definitely going to be buying these more often.
What's been your favourite's this month?
