Every year my fashion choices always go for ankle boots, I live in these boots as I wear them everyday for work and sometimes on my weekend shopping trips depending on my outfit but I will always been seen wearing a tartan scarf. I've been wearing this trend for 2 years now and I can't see it stopping any time soon. I only own two tartan scarfs, this gorgeous green/blue and black tartan which I bought from Accessories last year which doesn't go with my new coat this year, so I bought a nice light tanned / brown and grey tartan from New Look.
My make up definitely changes as I leave behind my dewy glowing bases to a more full coverage and I have been using this Revlon Colorstay 24hr foundation which is lightweight but buildable formula with a satin finish, I am planning on writing a full review for this so make sure you look out for that. I explored more with my blush colours this year and I've chosen a lot of deep pinky purples. This Max Factor Creme Puff blush has been a fall favourite but you do have to apply this with a light hand to avoid looking like a clown as the pigmentation is crazy. Reds/berry tones are my most worn lip choices in this season, you can see some of my top 5 autumn lip favourites here.
I don't know about you but I seem to catch all sorts of illnesses when the temperature drops and I do try and avoid picking up these nasty bugs by eating healthy, I'm taking multivitamin & Iron tablets but for some reason I feel like I have no immune system this year as I've already been really sick that it made me lose my voice for 2 days and felt like I was swallowing knives, so one thing that I do need to start using is Vicks First Defence, when used correctly and early enough this stuff is amazing at keeping colds away before spreading into something nasty. As soon as you feel a tickle on your throat, a sneeze or sniff inhale this by spraying and taking a deep breathe through the nose quickly you can't feel anything if you think this sounds uncomfortable, take 2-3 times a day for 2 days and that's it you've avoided the plague! it's a lifesaver.
What's your essentials for getting through Winter?
