A lot of people seemed to think January flew by, but for me it seemed quite long, this may have something to do with the fact that I've been on overtime every week last month but the best thing about January for me is my birthday at the end of the month (let me know if anyone is interested in having a nosey at what I got this year).
Girl Online by Zoe Sugg
Now I'm sure you have all heard of this book from the very own blogger/vlogger Zoella. I'm always up for a teen love story and the fact that she is a blogger, well that makes it even more interesting. I'm not going to give a full review on the book or go into detail about the story but I've been reading this book before bedtime to turn off and make me feel sleepy so I only manage 2-3 chapters a night and let me tell you the chapters aren't long. I'm on chapter 20 something at the minute and I am fully gripped to this book. I have to force myself to stop at the end of a chapter, but anyone who loves a good teenage love story will really enjoy this, such a good read. I hope the ending doesn't disappoint me but I know there is going to be a sequel.
Harvest Moon Original Instant Oats
January has been a cold tiring month for me I don't know about anyone else but It's been a frosty/snowy one, so I've been having porridge for breakfast most mornings. Breakfast is definitely my favourite meal of the day, if I could I'd eat it all day. I can't leave the house without breakfast even if I'm running really late, I have to eat something so these 2 minute instant oats from Aldi are great for rushed mornings
Clinique Moisture Surge Intense
I purchased this at the beginning of the month as my skin was very dry due to all this cold weather I can't wait for summer, and it has really helped to clear that up, I've always wanted to try this for a long time so I'm glad I've finally invested in it at the right time as I've really noticed a difference in my skin since using it. I have redness in my cheeks and they have faded slightly but the sales assistant said that it could be red due to dryness, I never thought of it that way before but she must of been right! I don't use this cream everyday but sometimes as a night cream so it soaks in overnight and I wake up with baby soft skin.
Urban Decay Naked 2 Eyeshadow Palette
After having my eyes on these naked palettes for a very long time I thought I'd go and buy one and I'm so glad I did, these are by far the best eyeshadows I now own, I love all the colours with a mixture of mattes and shimmers to natural and bold colours, it is a suitable palette for every occasion. I'd definitely recommend the naked palettes to anyone. You can read the full review here
Sleep Pillow Mist Spray
This is something I've actually had for a very long time, but last month I needed my sleep as I was working very hard and long hours, I spray this around my room when I'm getting ready for bed and then read my book to help me feel sleepy, if anyone struggles with sleeping I'd recommend you giving lavender sprays ago, the way it relaxes your body is amazing you feel so refreshed as you slip into a deep sleep.
Premae Lab Definitive Eye Cream
I started to notice dark circles, baggy eyes and dry skin around my lower lash area and I just was in desperate need of something, I bought this cream because it helps all those things, reduce fine lines, dryness, dark circles, de puffs, crows feet it was just ticking all the boxes. I don't really like the packaging as it pours out way too much than I need but apart from that I'm really liking it and this is actually the first eye cream I've ever bought, so I can feel an obsession coming along because I love them.
