My Top 10 Drugstore Favourites

Rachele from the blog 'The Hunt For Fabulous' decided to set up a collaboration post on our Top 10 Drugstore Favourites. So she took to twitter to round up some bloggers as twitter is great for the blogging community. As this is my first collab post it's nice to meet other bloggers and see what's their drugstore favourites.

Most of my favourites are beauty related but I do have a skin care and hair care product thrown in there.

This is a full coverage foundation which has become my cheaper alternative as my everyday base, it gives you a flawless finish covering all blemishes and redness which I suffer from with a long lasting matte result, I don't find this cakey or drying but I do apply full coverage foundation with a sponge as there textures can be quite thick and quick setting. I just love how long lasting the coverage is for a drugstore foundation as it's stayed on through my long 12 hour work days and definitely stayed on a much as I expected through my Zumba workouts.

This eyeliner is one of my many favourites, but it stands out to me as the best drugstore eyeliner. This gel eyeliner pen is known to be a dupe for the Benefit's They're Real eyeliner. The pen's tip can be quite tricky to get the hang of but it takes practice. It's long lasting practically 16 hours +, it's waterproof, smudge proof and comes out jet black. It's just the perfect liner and that's what I love about it cause I know my eyeliner will always be at it's best.

This is my most used beauty tool which I use to apply my foundation, at first I wasn't sure how to use this and thought it was a slow process but the more you use it the faster you get when you work with it. If you have dry skin it really helps if you wet the sponge before hand as it expands and gives you a bit of moisture to your face. It blends beautifully and really gives you that flawless finish. I love it because it really isn't that expensive but you do have to replace it every few months and the finishing results are perfect every time.

I swear by this concealer as it just does the job so well, it's high coverage and lasts a long time for something so cheap. I'm always repurchasing it and haven't tried many others as I just find myself going back to this one, it's great for under eyes or blemishes and blends in nicely using your finger or a brush. I love that it's great for your money and it's brilliant at concealing for a long lasting finish that's buildable

Sleek are one of many favourite drugstore brands out there. This trio palette is the perfect starting point for bronzed rose glowing cheeks. This is the palette in 'Fair' so the bronzer isn't too dark for my skin. All three powders are very pigmented and blend in together nicely. I love the highlighter the best as it's a pearly shimmer which just looks stunning on the cheekbones and the blusher gives a really natural flush on my cheeks. I love how it's a perfect size for traveling with a mirror included.

Barry M are good quality nail varnish, they have so many colours to choose from with high shine glossy finishes, they last for a few days until chipped but you can make it last longer if you touch up. I love this pale purple shade 'Lilac' as purple is my favourite colour and I wear it most out of all my polishes.

These brushes have completely changed my hair routine, as I have long hair it can get a bit tangley and that can cause me to become stressed and be in pain, well since using these brushes I no longer experience that. I love that it's small enough to take anywhere and that I can use it in the shower as it's waterproof, you can use it on dry or wet hair as it works just as well on both and glides through my hair. I haven't gone back to any other brush since trying these out.

I'm a normally a matte lipstick kind of girl but these lip crayons have been my favourite for everyday use, they hydrate your lips with a sheer tint that can be buildable depending how you like, and aren't sticky but leave your lips shiny. I love these not for the staying power but just how nice they feel on my lips as they are so comfortable and quick and easy to apply on the go.

This is my all time favourite dark red lipstick, it has a matte finish and lasts for about 4-6 hours before topping up, sometimes can be a bit drying on the lips so you'll need to take care in moisturising them, these lipsticks are very pigmented and I have many in my collection, they are easy to wear and don't bleed or cling to dry patches. I love the texture and how smooth it glides on with just one coat.

Over the years I've tried many moisturisers and only a few stand out to me, this being one of them. Whenever I start to feel dry or itchy this relieves it straight away, it's not heavy thick or greasy and soaks into the skin quite quickly leaving your skin silky soft for hours. I love this when the colder months draw in and my dry skin comes back as it clears it up straight away. It's made from natural ingredients which I love and comes with a pump making it easy to apply.
