Need Some Inspiration For Valentines Day?

Hello,
Need some help with your look for this valentine's day, well here is a selection of my beauty products that might give you some inspiration on how to look pretty in pink.

So I was going through my make up collection the other day and noticed I own quite alot of pinks, this could be because I love a natural look and pinks are best for that, so this gave me the idea to link it in with valentine's day as it is coming up soon, most of this is drugstore make up that can be found in most places such as Boots and Superdrug but I'll link everything mention.

The Lips
These lipsticks are probably my most used and loved as you probably can see, the first one being LOreal Paris Color Riche Exclusive Nudes in the colour 'Barely Peach' by Julianne Moore, I love this lipstick as it is so smooth and creamy when you apply it, it's not the best at long lasting but the packaging is beautiful for the price. If you like the sound of the LOreal lipsticks then you will love the Bourjois Rough Edition, Bourjois is defiantly one of my favourite drugstore brands out there so I'm forever trying there products and I love the rouge edition, they are so hydrating, smooth and creamy like LOreal but these have alot more lasting power in them leaving a slight gloss with it, I have the shade 04 Rose Tweed as this is the best natural/nude for me and looks great with a smokey eye. Only recently I discovered the wonders of lip liners these are defiantly key for making your lipstick last longer with no smudging, I use the Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Liner in the colour 630 Velvet Beige and it's very long lasting, smooths on nicely and does exactly what it's suppose to making my lipstick stay put.

The face
Starting from the top, these 3 blushes are my most used blushes in my everyday make up routine. Top left is the Bourjois Little Round Pot Blusher In the colour 03 Brun Cuivre I love a good peachy orange when the weather starts to get a bit warm and this is a very nice bronze peach with a hint of shimmer which gives your cheeks a nice glow, it did some with a small brush but I never used that so I threw it out but it's good for on the go as it comes with a little compact mirror and small enough to fit in your pocket. The middle is a lip and cheek stain that I received in Decembers Glossybox by the brand Bellapierre Cosmetics in the colour Coral. It's a thick creamy formula but I only dab a small amount on my cheeks because you don't want to overdo it as it's quite pigmented so I blend it in with my Real Techniques Blush Brush. I don't use it on my lips as much as it quite drying but it's good for the cheeks. I don't think you'll be able to get this from boots so click the link if your interested. Top right is the first blusher I ever bought which is Rimmel London Lasting Finish Blush in the 020 Pink Rose, this matches my rosy cheeks well so this is very natural on me, I use this one the most at work for a more subtle look, it does have shimmer in the power as you can see but it doesn't add glitter to your cheeks but just a bit of a shine so it's not matte, I love to use this around winter to give your cheeks a bit of a healthy glow.

In the middle are my two miniature benefit items which I got for Christmas, I haven't decided if I'll buy them full size yet but it's nice to give them a try, I love to use the High Beam Highlighter on my cheeks and brow bone and it gives a pearly pink glow which isn't in your face but more subtle, the formula is in liquid form which I like because it's more pigmented but I think I prefer powdered highlighters as they're easier to blend in and it doesn't mix in with my foundation but I still like this highlighter, I was thinking of trying girl meets pearl to see if that's any better as it's in a stick. Then we have the Benetint which is also a lip and cheek stain, when I first tried it I wasn't sure on a liquid blusher, I brushed a few strokes on my cheeks and you have to be really fast at blending it as you'll get a stained stroke on your cheek, which isn't a good look!, as for the lips this is no problem and it looks quite nice but I'm not a fan of it on my cheeks, might have to warm up to it but it leaves behind a dark pink but then fades as you blend it in.

The Nails
Believe it or not I actually own a lot of pink nail vanish which is funny cause I don't wear pink that often apart from spring and maybe summer. So starting from the left we have Bourjois Paris So Laque Ultra Shine In the colour Beige Glamour I haven't tried there nail varnishes before but I do like them and they are fast drying which is great for someone like me who is always smudging there nails, this gives you a nice rose pink which is quite glossy and I prefer this pink if I'm honest. Next is the BarryM Gelly Hi Shine In the colour Dragon Fruit, I didn't even know I had this so I tried out the colour, is it very girly pink with little hints of glitter but I wouldn't say it's very glossy to say that it's hi shine unless that's what the bits of glitter is? I do like it though so might try and wear it more often. Next we have two nail varnishes which my mum bought me back from Portugal which can be found here and here the first colour is called 1526-144 And the second is 1526 -141 they are both nice colours and I like the packaging but my only issue is the brush, as it leaves behind the strokes if you don't apply it thick but I'm not sure if this is because I didn't apply a base coat. Other than that they are nice and who's going to turn down nail varnish as a present.

Well I hope you've all been inspired by all the girly pinkness featured in this post, even if it's not used for Valentine's Day but for maybe an everyday look?
