Hello,
A few weeks ago now I went down to London to have a walk around Oxford Street and of course I had to pop in the world's biggest Lush store. Now I didn't want to go crazy and buy out the whole store because that could of easily happened with the amount of new products I saw but this store has THREE floors - If you love Lush a lot then this place is like heaven for you and you must visit this store at some point.
The Basement floor is the spa area which is filled with massage bars and candles.
The Ground floor had a mixture of hair care, skin care and make up items plus loads of 1 litre bottles of your favourite shower gels which is an Oxford Street exclusive.
The First floor has all the bath products so bubble bars, bath bombs, bath melts and a new thing which I haven't seen before is solid bath oils. To the back of the room it was filled of the gift boxes and towards the front was a bestsellers section / a seating area to have a play with the fun products.
I just wanted to buy Lush Oxford Street exclusive products on my visit so I picked up
When you look at this obviously it's going to be very colourful so I was interested in how this was going to look. When I dropped this in the bath, straight away it started fizzing from all sides different colours, which then created this gorgeous rainbow effect in the water with hints of glitter. It took a while for the bath bomb to completely fizz out, at least 5 mins and your left with this overpowering vanilla scent. After a while all the colours are mixed together leaving behind this murky grey colour which didn't bother me, what surprised me the most is how it made my skin feel silky but not moisturising as I did have to moisturise afterwards.
This bath bomb captures it's name very well, It fizzes a very sparkly blue with lines of pink and yellow creating a very galaxy styled picture in the water with the glitter acting as sparkly stars, which lasted all about 2-3 minutes after a while your left with this deep blue coloured water making your skin very sparkly, personally I didn't want to come out looking like a glitter ball so I did have a rinse in the shower before finishing. Overall it was a very pretty bath bomb to watch.
Bath Dunk Flowering Tea Bag Bubble Bar £4.95
I just loved the concept of this bubble bar, a giant tea bag to put in your hot bath. You can get 2-3 uses out of this depending on how you use it. In the end I crumbled the rest up and inside it was filled with orange flowers and jasmine bits which melt to create a calming smell to make you relax and was very softening on the skin. I really enjoyed using this bubble bar as I used this before going to bed to help me de stress but sadly I can't find this online or in my local Lush store as it was an Oxford Street exclusive.
At the time when I bought these products they were only available in Oxford Street Lush, but you can now find The Experimenter and Intergalactic available in most Lush stores. I would love to go down and see all the Christmas range but luckily my store has most of them in stock.
Have you tried the new Lush products? Have you been to the Oxford Street Lush before? Let me know your favourites?
