So the whole contour & highlight thing is all new to me as I'm just used to applying some colour to my cheeks and that was it, but my have things become more advanced.
I bought this Sleek Contour Kit in Light when it first got released back in April sorry this was a late review and as I had a lot to learn I didn't enjoy it at first, one cream products are very different to powders which I'm used to, two I really struggled to find the right tool to blend this cream texture with but that has now been resolved thanks to my RT miracle complexion sponge, if anyone can recommend a brush that's great at blending in cream products I'd love to give it a try.
When you see the two highlighting and four contouring shades your probably thinking 'where the hell do I start?' well luckily for beginners they include an instruction guide on where to apply the shades. You eventually get the hang of it when you use it enough.
I like to use this on top of a foundation or just on my skin acting as a base but due to my redness/freckles on my face, it's much more noticeable over a foundation. These creams are buildable and blendable but I would recommend you take extra time in the blending process as it can be easy to miss some harsh lines you've created to get that velvety smooth flawless finish.
I do find that if I apply too much of the darker shades it can make me look a bit orangy as I am pale, so if your like me maybe swatch this before you buy, but other than that it can look natural if applied lightly and it's so long lasting as it stays on through my long days at work.
I like to take this away whilst traveling as the large compact mirror is very handy. One thing Sleek love to include are mirrors which is what I love about there products along with the black hard plastic packaging.
When I first bought this kit it was available in only 3 shades, light, medium & dark but looking on there website it seems there has been a fourth shade released in extra dark.
If contouring sounds scary to you but you want to give it ago then I would recommend this costing only £10.99 here. Also available in Boots & Superdrug.
What do you use for contouring? Have you given this a try?

Benefit Theyre Real Tinted Primer | Review
This is the first time I've actually used a lash primer as I've seen them around, but only in white which didn't appeal to me because then I'd have to worry about making sure I cover all the white
If you've never used a lash primer before well as the name suggests you wear this before mascara. If you're familiar with Benefit's They're Real mascara then the brush applicator is exactly the same, plastic, flexible and the dome spike at the end which helps get those tiny corner lashes.
The first thing I noticed when I first applied this is how light it feels on my lashes as it's very soft to apply, not heavy like some mascaras I've tried. As you can see it does make a difference on once you add the final layer of mascara.
91% said soft enough to layer on mascara 6 hours later
92% said it boosted length, lift & separation
I've really enjoyed using this primer on it's own most of the time but when I want my lashes to be noticed it definitely helps give it that extra. I will be buying the full version which you can get here for £18.50
Have you tried this tinted primer yet? what's your thoughts on lash primer?

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick Review

This has been one of those products that I've always wanted to try but always held back because of the price, so after working loads of overtime a few weeks back I thought I'd reward myself and splurge out on a Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipstick in the shade 'Bond Girl'.
Now unfortunately I can't go out and purchase CT products so I ordered this online. I was rather impressed with the presentation of my parcel as it came in her branded purple tissue paper with the most beautiful shipping reciept I think I've ever opened, a gold embossed lettered envelope.
While we are on the topic of packaging which I do get all obsessive over can you blame me right? is how CT just completely smashes it by having rose gold casing with ridged detail. It is by far the most prettiest lipstick in my collection along with my Kiko Intensely Lavish lipstick. What makes this different to other lipsticks though is the shape of the bullet as it has a flat top instead of a point, my first thought was how will this work? and without a struggle it does. The texture of this is really smooth and doesn't pull on my lips when I apply. If I rub my lips together the colour blends well on both lips without clinging to dry patches although I'd always recommend you prep your lips before any matte lipstick so make sure you have a smooth base. The colour has easily become a favourite of mine as it's a reddish brown which is a not in your face kind of red so it's great for any occasion and everyday, the pigmentation is strong as expected with just two buildable coats and so long lasting with possibly one touch up depending how long you've worn this.
I am very happy that I did finally buy this as it's become a firm favourite which I will/have been wearing this A/W. It is on the pricey side at £23 but it is worth it and nice to own at least one luxury lippy. Overall I am impressed with CT products and already have my eyes on some more to splurge on.
