The queen of luxe bohemian meets minimalistic Parisian chic, Isabel Marant has always been the designer that everyone wanted to have a piece of but could not. {The prices, yes I feel you. It's always the prices isn't it?} Watching It-girls around the world donning Marant on the streets in utter envy is now over with the arrival of the most covetable collaboration/collection of the year, Isabel Marant for H&M. H&M collaborations have always given those who can't afford designer pieces {like a lot of us} a glimpse of what it is like to own one at just a high-street price, and that's why when they announced that they were teaming up with Isabel {who happens to be one of my favourite designers}, I was so excited! I mean, who wouldn't be?
Launching in stores and online today, the collection was inspired by iconic pieces from her previous collections and it features must-have essentials from knitwear in the form of beaded wool jackets to fringed boots, soft cotton blouses and gorgeous leather trousers. The overall look? A tribal twist to edgy-cool street style worthy of a model off duty. Exquisite fabrics and top-notch craftsmanship are also some of the reasons why everyone and I mean, everyone wants to get a piece of the collection. The stakes are even higher with the fact that top models such as Daria Werbowy {who recently got her British Vogue cover}, Devon Aoki, Andreea Diaconu, Milla Jovovich, Saskia de Brauw, Sam Rollinson {top model of Spring 2014} and Alek Wek are fronting the official lookbook and campaign.

There would surely be miles and miles of queueing outside H&M stores worldwide today for these one-of-a-kind creations, but for me I'll make sure that I'll snag one {or a few} online. Get into the bohème spirit for Marant fashionistas.
