“Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: "What! You too? I thought I was the only one.” ― C.S. Lewis

“Life is an awful, ugly place to not have a best friend.”― Sarah Dessen
"You know when I feel inwardly beautiful? When I am with my girlfriends and we are having a ‘goddess circle’."- Jennifer Aniston

"A true friend is someone who never gets tired of listening to your own pointless dramas over and over again." - Unknown

Remember that "omg!" moment when you found your best friend? I definitely did. I was talking to my best friend (we weren't best friends yet) about my latest crush on Cara Delevingne (it was some time ago), and I realised that she had loved Cara since forever. I was like "no way! You're the first person I know that loves her as much as I do."
Not only was she highly obsessed with fashion, she knows everything from the latest trends on the runway to the newest issues of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Elle, fashion documentaries to the next up-and-coming model to watch. She even plans to be a model when she grows up, just like me! I couldn't believe I had found a friend that had so many similar interests!(Even now, I still can't.)
--------------------------------
On a more serious note, she has been the only person in my life (well, other than my mum of course) who has shared the happiest moments, been through the toughest times, had the loudest laughs and the longest texts with. I can be honest with her on anything, no matter what happens and I can never stay angry at her for long. Every time we get to meet up, both of us would be like "I have so much to tell you!"
-------------------------------
Recently we had a girls day out where we went to the most glamorous malls in the country, took a dip in her private swimming pool, had a fashion and chick flick movie marathon and snacked on Italian biscotti freshly flown from Milan (I'm not kidding, Milan!). I could name all the amazing moments I have had with my bestie, but that would require hours and hours of post-reading on end. Here's a quote by Blair Waldorf that I think explains everything for me and my best friend, for you and yours.
"We're sisters. You're my family. What is you, is me. There's nothing you could ever say to make me let go. I love you."- Blair Waldorf to Serena van der Woodsen.
Share this post with your best friend ---- sometimes they need to be reminded how much you love them!
What's the most memorable moment you had with your best friend?
